Orchard House has been a hotel for over 100 years. The entrance and lounge of the hotel are over 130 years old with other parts of the building over 50 years old than this (the foundations are thought to be even older).

The building is grade 2 listed and we are continually restoring it to it's former glory. The rooms are quirky and full of character. When Room 2 was decorated the original fireplace was discovered covered with a memorial stone dated 1821.

The dado rails in the bar are ornate and Victorian while theose on the staircase are Regency and plain. The wardrobes and dressing tables are antique and from the original period of the hotel.

The four poster beds are hand carved in the style of the period.
